My Lendrum arrived on Friday. Isn't he beautiful? I've taken a couple hours to play with him and I'm still not quite sure what I'm doing, but I do know that I'm having a wonderful time getting to know my new wheel. Hopefully we have a beautiful future together. Once I learn how not to abuse him.
Him? I think so. His personality hasn't emerged yet, but I do think this is a masculine wheel. Now he just needs a name...
Any thoughts?
My spinning wheel is still nameless (or at least I haven't learned its name yet ;)), so I'm not much help, but hey! Congrats on the new wheel! Yayyyyyy! :D
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I love my Lendrum! I just found a great tip on the Internets: replace the rubber band on the Scotch tension with a covered pony tail elastic...it will last longer!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!!
The names for my wheels aren't very imaginative. The Ashford Joy is "Joy" and the Louet S10 is "Louie". I'd think that with your Lendrum being a Canadian wheel you may want to consider something that would hearken to that background.
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty wheel.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I was looking at wheels on Saturday and Lendrum was one of my favorites, next to the Majacraft wheels I tried out. Enjoy your wheel!!
ReplyDeleteThis is only the second post I've read from your blog, but what I've noticed thus far is that you are an excellent photographer.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!
So pretty! I want one! :)
